The Sun is a tarot card that can be found when playing as Laura during Chapter 9 in The Quarry. This tarot card can happen during Chapter 10.
Overview[]
A tarot card from the mid 15th century. It shows the sun shining down on a field of sunflowers and a young boy with a wolf beside him.
Premonition[]
This tarot card has multiple premonitions. Following the list below, the game will check each of these premonitions to see if the requirements are met. If a requirement is not met, it will move on to the next premonition. Once a requirement is met, that premonition will be shown. Only one of the premonitions below can appear.
- Emma is inside Chris' surveillance room.
- This will be shown if Emma is alive. If Emma is dead or infected, it will show the next applicable counselor.
- Emma is in the woods covered in blood and tattered clothing.
- This will be shown if Emma is infected and Laura is alive. It will show the next applicable counselor if Laura is dead.
- Jacob is in the woods.
- This will be shown if Jacob is alive. If Jacob is dead, it will show the next applicable counselor.
- Abigail is inside Chris' surveillance room.
- This will be shown if Abigail is alive. If Abigail is dead, it will show the next applicable counselor.
- Ryan is in the woods.
- This will be shown if Ryan is alive. If Ryan is dead, it will show the next applicable counselor.
- Laura and Max are together on the Island.
- This will be shown if Ryan, having declined Laura's bite, died of blood loss and Laura then killed Travis.
- Dylan is in the lodge.
- This will be shown if Dylan is alive. If Dylan is dead, it will show the next applicable counselor.
- Kaitlyn is in the lodge.
- This will be shown if Kaitlyn is alive.
Outcome[]
The counselor in the premonition can survive the night.
Location[]
When you gain control of Laura, no matter your choices, you will eventually end up in a room with a staircase and a piano. Here, you can see a door across from the top of the staircase. Walk through the corridor and to the connecting balcony and then walk straight towards the window. The camera will then switch briefly to show the card on the window outside. Pick it up, but if you miss it, simply walk out and back into the room so the camera switches angle again.[1]

- The Sun is one of the few tarot cards that can have multiple premonitions. The others are The Hermit, Death, and Judgement.
